THE X CHALLENGE

Three times each year, we host The X Challenge, our bespoke three-tiered exercise event designed to accommodate all levels of fitness. It might be intense, but it’s fun and rewarding, too.

The X Challenge asks you to complete set distances in fixed times while observing race conditions and instructions. You can choose to enter solo or opt to act as a group.

These challenges are a great way to benchmark your fitness.. and see the improvement over time.

We also offer corporate packages, where you and your colleagues can compete together to boost morale and strengthen team spirit.

The Long Course

This is where dreams are made and broken.

If you are into running or triathlon or hyrox this is a perfect challenge for you. An ideal way to increase your endurance (aerobic base) the foundation for any athlete to build their engine. This level has the longest distances. Ski for 2km, row for 4km and ride for 10k to complete the Challenge.

THE SHORT COURSE

This is where you push your limits.

An ideal way to push your intensity over a shorter distance on the 'ergs'. More speed and power is required for this effort, less steady state and a more “on the limit” effort.

Complete the Challenge with a 1.5km ski and a 2km row, before finishing with a 5km ride.

ACID BATH

This is where the power is.

For those athletes who are built for power, this is the ultimate test of how much power you can produce, and how much lactate you can tolerate. Also ideal for more beginners to get a feel for pushing themselves over a short effort more manageable distance.

These four - to five-minute sprints ask you to do 500m on the Ski, 500m on the Rower, and 1000m on the Bike.
